A Day of Grace and Glory

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, thousands of faithful will gather at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Washington, for a historic outdoor celebration of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Mass will be presided over by Archbishop Paul Etienne and Bishop Frank Schuster of the Archdiocese of Seattle, bringing together Catholics from across Western Washington for a powerful witness of faith, unity, and hope.

Following the Mass, the Knights of Columbus Council #809 will host a BBQ on the party decks, offering food and fellowship for attendees.

Chase the Crown is a Catholic initiative dedicated to honoring Christ through Mary and inviting the faithful into deeper devotion, public witness, and joyful  celebration of the Eucharist.

Tickets are free but registration is requested for planning purposes.
