Stewards Among Us: Rock the Message

Bonnie Viafore is spreading the Good News in a unique way.  She is evangelizing through rocks. She is a steward among us.

Beesrockusa is a Facebook group that Bonnie started to share information about the rocks that evangelize by meeting people where they are at.

Bee The Difference

The rocks deliver short, impactful messages of faith, hope and love. Bonnie wanted to share words of encouragement with the community— inviting the finder of the rock to Bee the Difference by living the stewardship way of life and be— Bee Joyful, BeeLieve, BeeKind, Bee Thankful, Bee a Blessing, Bee Brave, Bee Strong.

Share the Message

On the flip side, the rocks share the Psalm 31:3 scripture verse along with the invitation to keep or rehide the rock, with the goal to have the rocks travel throughtout the United States and outside the borders to share the Good News. Finders are asked to post a photo of the found rock on the groups Facebook page noting  where the rock was found along with the number on the back of the rock.

Rocks Fuel Project Based Learning

Students are learning about geography through beesrockusa. Bonnie’s daughter, April Nagel is a 1st grade teacher at Saint Patrick Catholic School.  Mrs. Nagel’s students are keeping track of where the rocks from beesrockusa are hidden in the United States. Rocks have been spotted in 13 states and as far away as Japan and the Vatican!
