Saint Patrick Catholic School is a remarkable place. I am struck by how many of those students I still keep in regular contact with. I have built lifelong friends in this community.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the courage of the first responders and ordinary people who served others in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

As a Catholic school community, we pray for all those who continue to carry the grief of that day, for the men and women who serve and protect our communities, and for peace in our world.

May we honor the memory of those lost by choosing compassion, courage, service, and hope.
