Meet the School Commissioon
I am a mother of three, a proud graduate of K-12 Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle, and the 4th grade teacher at Saint Patrick Catholic School.
I have one daughter that attends Saint Patrick Catholic School. I attended Catholic Schools from grade 4 through high school and believe the lessons and values provided to me during that time have shaped my life to want to serve those in my community. I spent approximately 20 years in finance at various organizations across a variety of industries managing accounting/finance teams providing reporting, analysis and compliance.
I am the mother of two amazing children who teach me so much every day. I attended Catholic schools in middle school and early high school, and have worked in the field of education for 20 years. I am passionate about creating environments for all young people to thrive and grow. I am a very relational person and first joined the Commission as a way to contribute my knowledge of education while also finding a way to give back to the school community that has meant so much to me and my family.
I am a mother of one amazing daughter. I attended Catholic school in high school, and parochial schools from 1st grade through college. I believe the Catholic education model provides students the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a unique way and am proud to not only send my daughter to St. Pats and through the Catholic school system, but to provide support to the school through the school commission. I have 15 years of Human Resources experience, mostly for nonprofits. My contribution to the school commission is policy writing, recruiting, and people relations.
I am the parent of one St. Pats graduate, I also have a current second-grader, with another one joining the preschool program next year. I’m deeply committed to the opportunity for a Catholic education for all children. Witnessing the transformative impact it has on young lives, I felt called to deepen my service as a parent. My experience in nurturing client relationships while helping them realize their goals by being both focused and flexible aligns with the committee’s objectives.
I have one daughter who attends St. Patrick Catholic School. I attended Catholic Schools K-8 and Jesuit Universities for both undergraduate and graduate school. Professionally, I’ve served as an elementary and special education teacher, school principal, and executive director of elementary schools. I am a past chair of the REACH auction and continue to serve on the procurement team. In addition, I’ve served on the principal search team. I joined the school commission to support the excellent work of the school and Catholic education for anyone who desires one.
I am a father of two and attended Catholic schools from 1st grade through undergrad. I have a meaningful understanding of the strengths of the Catholic education model, and I care deeply about providing the opportunity to attend a Catholic school not just to my own children but to others, regardless of ability to pay. I am a corporate bankruptcy and finance attorney and have been practicing in that field for 20 years. As such, my primary contribution to the commission is that of a parent with broad experience dealing with financial matters of every type, description, and complexity, as well as experience with board service (including executive roles) in the nonprofit space.
