Saint Patrick Catholic School is a remarkable place. I am struck by how many of those students I still keep in regular contact with. I have built lifelong friends in this community.

Emily Keller '84Teacher

We put two children through Saint Patrick Catholic School and we see the results every single day in their character, their dedication to their studies, and most importantly for us, in their faith lives.

March is Youth Art Month. The act of creating art has proven to be valuable for youth in a myriad of ways. It encourages fine motor skills, helps with problem-solving, allows the artist to process a range of emotions, and is, quite simply, fun.

5th grader artists focused on three elements of art: line, color, and texture to create their nonobjective compositions. Students were tasked with choosing either warm or cool colors for their compositions. The finished product seems to gleam like stained glass. They used a variety of materials for this project: yarn, cardboard, glue, aluminum foil, and Sharpies.

Gratitude for a Golden Night: Honoring the Legacy of the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Tacoma at the 2025 REACH Auction.

Saint Patrick Catholic School is filled with heartfelt gratitude following the success of REACH 2025: A Golden Opportunity, our annual auction celebrating 50 years of REACH and 132 years of Catholic education.

Among the many supporters, we give special recognition to the Tacoma Dominican Sisters, whose presence and prayers continue to bless our community. Their gift to the Fund An Item echoes their years of service and stewardship and reminds us that their mission is deeply woven into the fabric of our school.

The leadership of Principal Kate Chambers and Vice Principal Abby McElligott continues to carry that torch—leading with grace, compassion, and a collaborative spirit.

There’s still time to support the Fund An Item and continue the work inspired by the Dominican mission. Every gift—of time, talent, or treasure—helps ensure that Catholic education at Saint Patrick Catholic School thrives for generations to come.

Preschool explorers found a dinosaur 🦖 in Tacoma on their scavenger hunt. We bet that wasn't on your bingo card!

Our young explorers were keen observers during the scavenger hunt, spotting most of the items as soon as they stepped outside. From a sleek black crow perched in a tree to a fluffy black-and-white dog enjoying the fresh air, the discoveries were thrilling.
