Saint Patrick Church

It is a tradition to celebrate May Crowning with an all school Mass and to crown the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A special honor is attached to being chosen to crown the statue of the Blessed Mother. At Saint Patrick Catholic School, the distinction is always bestowed upon an 8th grade girl by a vote of the school faculty and staff, along with her attendants in the Marian Court of Honor.

Students are invited to wear their Sunday best for May Crowning. Full uniforms are always a great option, too.

ELC students will also crown the Blessed Virgin Mary statue in the 2nd floor hallway outside the office.
