Of course you do. That’s why it’s so easy for you to support the St. Pat’s Scrip Program.
What is Scrip?
Scrip is Fundraising While You Shop®. This amazingly successful fundraising program has worked for thousands of parochial schools. Scrip turns everyday shopping into cash for St. Patrick School when families use retail gift cards to pay for everyday purchases (like gas and groceries) instead of the usual credit/debit card or cash.
The Basics of the Scrip Program
1. St. Patrick school families, friends and parishioners buy retail gift cards through the St. Pat’s Scrip Program at face value.
3. St. Pat’s buys the gift cards (Scrip) at 1-25% less than face value (varies by retailer).
4. St Pat’s earns the difference with the vendors essentially giving the school a reward for selling gift cards that encourage school families to shop at their stores.
Here’s an Example
Say you purchase a $100 Safeway or Fred Meyer gift card through the Scrip Program. You can go buy $100 worth of groceries – you get the full $100. St. Pat’s has earned 4.5% ($4.50) from Safeway or Fred Meyer. The earned percentage varies from vendor to vendor.
