Did you notice the new paint at Saint Patrick Catholic School’s Skip Butler Gymnasium during our 2018 – 2019 back to school events recently? The Garneau-Nicon Family Foundation made the fresh coat of paint possible with a generous grant of $15,000. The Garneau-Nicon Family Foundation (GNFF) is a charitable family foundation assuring opportunity and encouraging excellence for the people of the greater Puget Sound area. GNFF grants cover capital improvements; including general building improvements (such as painting!).

The work began this summer with the help of our facutly, staff and parent volunteers who supported this effort and prepped the gym for painting. We are grateful for Powers Paint LLC, a painting company that specializes in painting gyms, for their great work over the summer months. Thanks to their generous help, we could start the 2018-2019 school year with a beautiful gym, which is used for many events besides PE classes. We are also thankful to Star Rentals for making sure we had the equipment required to reach those high spots in the gym.

In addition, thanks to Fife Signs & Graphics our freshly painted gym sports our logo and mascot name— Go Shamrocks and Barclay Dean Architectural Products.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out changes, join us on September 13, 2018 at 6 PM for Back to School Night and take a peek!
