Our Easter Message - Saint Patrick Catholic School

Good Friday | 3-30-18

My Friends,

We are an Easter people. We now share the joy of the resurrection. Although sinners, we are forgiven through the love and grace of God. As we cast our eyes on the life of Jesus who suffered, died and rose again, we too hope to rise to new life with and in Him. It is our faith and my prayer for each of us.

I hope that your Easter Sunday is a joyous one with family and friends. I especially pray that our Spring Break renews us in mind and body. It will be good to get away even for just a few days!

Blessings and safe travels,

Living Stations of the Cross

On Good Friday, our 8th graders continued a Saint Patrick Catholic School tradition and reenact the Passion of Christ in a very moving Stations of the Cross ceremony. Our Stations began at 9:30 A.M., and everyone walked out quietly 30 minutes later.

Stations of the Cross is a traditional Lenten devotion, prayed especially on Good Friday.
