On Saturday, March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Seattle and many cities throughout the United States to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today.
This event follows the National Walkout Day on March 14, 2018, when high school and middle school students from across the country, including Saint Patrick Catholic School, walked out of their school classrooms as a sign of unity and protest against school violence. Student voices have been raised since the fatal shootings in Parkland, Florida.
St. James Cathedral is joining in on the non‐ violent call for a change in our society. Gather in Cathedral Hall on Saturday, March 24 at 9:00 A.M. Bring posters and signs advocating for an end to a culture of violence. Father Ryan will lead a prayer, then all will process to Cal Anderson Park to join the Seattle March for our Lives.
RSVPs encouraged to Patrick Barredo via email or call 206-382-4515.
