Philosophy of Education
My primary responsibility is to treat every child with kindness and respect. I strive to do so in an environment enriched with good literature, plenty of play, and opportunities for spiritual development and creative expression.
Educational Background
I have a BA in nursing from Carroll College. As part of the program there I interned at Head Start centers in Montana. I worked as a cardiac hospital nurse and as a registered nurse for Head Start, the federal early childhood program. I have certification as a Montessori instructor from the North American Montessori Center of Surrey, British Columbia.
Teaching Experience
I have had my own classroom for seven years, and prior to that worked as an educational assistant for eight years.
Notes
I am a nice lady who enjoys the company of children. My assistant and I take great pleasure in providing a happy, healthy, place for children to practice all the skills necessary for school success.
