Philosophy of Education

The purpose of elementary physical education is to provide an opportunity for students to participate in a variety of physical activities which develop the physical and mental skills needed to be successful in team and individual sports. Elementary physical education classes teach the importance of physical activity for the general well being of students and help instill a positive attitude toward fitness now, and in the future. Classes also benefit the social dimension of children as they learn to cooperate and play with others.
