Philosophy of Education
My goal is to ensure the best early learning experience and education for all children in my class. I feel this happens through exploration and play balanced with structure and materials introduced in an inviting way. I believe it is important to meet each child where they are developmentally to ensure that they develop a love for learning and a smooth transition when they leave my classroom. It is very important to me for our classroom to be a preschool family where we treat each other with respect, love and kindness.

I attended Central Washington University with a Major in Recreation and Event Planning
Teaching Experience
I have been in Early Childhood Education for the past 10 years. I have worked with ages 2-5, although my experience is mostly with 4-5 year olds. I have been an aide as well as a lead teacher. I also have 3 years of experience as a Director of a preschool.
Notes
My passion is being in the classroom. I feel I have a natural ability to connect with children and my most favorite thing is seeing the smile and pride in their sweet little faces when they have learned something new.
