After a lengthy interview process of several highly qualified candidates Saint Patrick Catholic Church announces staffing changes.

Pastoral Assistant for Liturgy, Pastoral Care & Funerals

We are pleased to announce that Laura Dougherty has been selected to serve as our Pastoral Assistant for Liturgy, Pastoral Care, and Funerals for Saint Patrick Catholic Church.

Laura Dougherty has been a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church for many years.  She and her husband, DJ, were married at the parish 20 years ago. Their children, James and Joseph, attended Saint Patrick Catholic School and are currently studying at Bellarmine Prep.

Shortly after graduating from college, Laura served 8 years as a youth minister in the Seattle Archdiocese, beginning at Holy Cross Church.  She then spent 18 years working as an executive director for a number of non-profits.  Throughout the years, Laura has been very active in the school and parish community at Saint Patrick. While her children were in school she was heavily involved in the REACH auction, served as president of the Saint Patrick Parent Association (SPPA) and volunteered in the classroom.

As a parishioner, Laura has been a long-time member of the Liturgy Commission and this year prepared the children in the RCIA program to receive their sacraments at the Easter Vigil.  She looks forward to her new role and the privilege of serving her faith community.
