Principal's Message

Thank you to Parents’ Club and all of the St. Patrick Parents for providing a wonderful week for us this week.

The week of appreciating different people in our community was so much fun!  All felt very appreciated – and pampered.  The luncheon for our faculty and staff on Wednesday was outstanding!  I speak for the entire staff when I say we are privileged to work with your children and you.

We will have a few changes in staffing next year.  Mrs. Hammer is retiring full-time this year!  Sister Marilyn will leave the classroom to work half time as a Teacher Specialist.  She will coordinate with Mrs. Plumer to work with individual students and small groups.  Mrs. Falk will move to 2nd grade.  Ms Wright will move to 5th grade as well as work on her principal internship.  Mrs. Wilkins will work part-time, subbing for Ms Wright on the days she works on her internship.  Senora Milliman is retiring and moving out of the area.  At this time, we have openings for 4th grade, 5th grade, and Spanish teachers.  Jobs are posted on our website and the Archdiocese site.  I will soon be interviewing for these three positions.  If you know of qualified, interested teachers, please send them to our website for info.

School Musical, “The Pirates of Penzance,” is May 30 (evening performance) and May 31 (afternoon and evening performances).  They will be in Bellarmine’s theater this year.  I have heard students rehearsing and it sounds like it will be a very fun performance.  Thanks to Jennifer Rivers and John Armstrong for all of their hard work on this year’s musical.  Tickets will soon be on sale in the school office.

As we near the end of the school year, let’s keep our students on track.  Teachers teach until the last day of school, so students must continue with the proper attitude and behaviors to ensure a quality end of the school year.  Please remind your children about acceptable behaviors at school and diligence with their class assignments and homework.  Thank you.

Appreciation Week Thanks

Parents Club would like to thank the Room Parents and families who contributed to Appreciation Week, especially those who prepared food for the Staff Luncheon and cupcakes for Student Appreciation Day.  We are proud to have such dedicated parents at St. Patrick School.
