The Kindergarten program builds on the
foundation of the Montessori Philosophy. The setting is combined
classrooms with two certified Kindergarten teachers, plus one full
time and one part time aide.
While focusing on the development of
independent students we transition into a more traditional
setting. The classroom provides multiple activities and centers
with more time spent in structured activities. The student is
presented with more specific goals. The gradual transition
prepares the student for a more structured classroom setting with
a focus on strong reading comprehension.
