Dear Parents,
Students may join Beginning Band in the 5th grade. No experience is
needed as I start with basic fundamentals, such as note reading and
instrument fingerings.
Beginning Band meets in the gym on the following days and
times:
5F Mondays 1:00-1:40 p.m.
5W Tuesdays 1:00-1:40 p.m.
Advanced Band is an elective which meets during 6th period.
Since 6th grade students are not eligible for elective classes, they
attend band on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:30-2:15 p.m.
Both bands have two concerts per year and Advanced Band performs at
Grandparent's Day.
